Education Affairs Division

With the effort of the Education Affairs Division, there’s no limit to what you can learn. Wake Forest University’s signature lectures and exclusive interviews are available to prospective students, current students, and anyone at all levels who wants to learn.

Digital Publication Division

The Digital Publications division focuses on producing iBooks for the campus community, which range from informational pamphlets to department and program brochures. These materials are made available on Wake Foresfs iTunes U channel. The Social Media in Emerging Countries (SMEC) team translates Wake Forest news for foreign social media platforms. The podcast team interviews professors, carries out post-production, and publishes their products for public listening.

News & Current Affairs Division

The News & Current Affairs division covers university events on campus to present a snapshot of campus life to the outside world. Student team members film events and conduct interviews. These videos are currently available through iTunes and other platforms.

Sports & Affairs Division

The Sports & Affairs division creates promotional videos for Wake Forest’s sports teams. While the current focus is on the large competitive teams, club sports are covered alongside varsity athletics. Promotional videos serve primarily to inform future Wake students about the sports teams, improve their image, and, in the case of club sports teams, inform the current student population.

Special Events Division

The Special Events division connects The Media and the Wake Forest community by planning and facilitating campus events like the annual Fall in the Forest Photography Contest, the Reynolda Film Festival, and the Grand Opening of the Sutton Center.

MediaX Division

Something magical happens when you put terrific gadgets on campus. We can create unique opportunities for personal learning at every level. Media become more immersive through the power of touch, motion, and sound. The future of media can be sketched, scored, charted, coded, or performed here. And the work you love to do becomes the work the world loves to see.
